Gwennyn, Dobet Gnahoré, Gangbé Brass Band…
Kohann, undoubtedly estimating that the Sea Chanty Festival was no venue for her immense talent, has finally declined the invitation, which had been made to her to perform in Paimpol... She will be replaced on stage (at the Cabaret, at 5.30 pm, on Saturday 4th), by Gwennyn whose first album, En tu all, has just been granted the price of the best young artist produced in Brittany. Gwennyn rocks!

Another important piece of information : Dobet Gnahoré (replacing Kora Jazz Trio) will be performing for the African evening of the Cabaret (on Saturday 4th, at 8.30 pm). Gangbé Brass Band will be strolling along the quaysides for the three days of the Festival (instead of the band which was initially scheduled, namely Marzoug).

Opening of « L’Étoile de France »
A newcomer in the Saint-Malo flotilla of Bob Escoffier, l’Etoile de France was open pomp and circumstance on April 27th, in Saint-Malo, in the presence of numerous guests. The organizing team of the Sea Chanty Festival was part of them.

Let us, by the way, remind you that this gorgeous schooner (which is 40 metres long, with her sails covering 480m²) will be in Paimpol on August 3rd, 4th and 5th 2007 for the Festival.
